About NBM

NatureWise Biotech & Medicals Corporation (NBM) was founded in the year 2000 by Dr. CY Huang to develop new drugs from natural sources such as Traditional Chinese medicine and herbal extracts. NBM focuses on diseases that have no effective treatment and has developed two naturally derived therapeutic and supplement products: HDAC inhibitors and isoprenyl flavanoids. HDAC inhibitors are a type of cutting edge anti-cancer target therapy drug. Isoprenyl flavanoids are effective for treating neurodegenerative diseases. NBM has also tested some new products in agricultural biotechnology and invented a method to raise extra-large queen bees.

Our Record of Excellence

NBM is the first company in Taiwan to develop HDAC inhibitors. Researches on two of these lead compounds received the Gold Award in 2007 and 2011 respectively.

Patented PPLs®：PPLs® are compositions derived from Taiwanese green propolis by a proprietary method. Propolis has been found to have many therapeutic properties such as antibacterial, antioxidant, anticancer and so on. However, only Taiwanese green propolis was found by NBM’s researchers to have potent neurotrophic activity and have been patented by NBM.
